Last week, I met my LG at McDo. I felt blessed, inspired and happy to meet the group. The topic was about Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the bible. The chapter is a prayer of one who delights in and lives in by the sacred law.
So we were asked which verse we want in this chapter and why we liked it. I answered verse 90 which states
"Your faithfulness continues through all generations;
you established the earth, and it endures."
I like the above verse because it talks about God's unending faithfulness to us. Even we are sinners yet God remains faithful to help us.
Also there were questions asked to us and the answers that I remembered were the following:
My favorite song that I never forget is the song of Casting Crown "Who I Am"..The part of the lyrics I love best is the following:
Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
Vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours
I always want to hear this song whenever I am sad, stress, problematic or worried. This is my cure to my soul. I first hear this song through my friend, Sheena. I was looking for a piece that I can sing to the audition of Makati Feast's choir then Sheena told me to sing this song.
My favorite quote that I never forget is
"Nothing is forever. There are stream of people going into our lives. Nothing just stop and stay but it flows on like a river."
People come and go but leaves footprints in our life. The best is to learn something from that person. Never regret.
What I want to meditate is to become emotionally and spiritually mature. I acknowledged that I am not a mature person but I am working on being emotionally and spiritually mature.
